I created this document to illustrate and discuss the characteristics of refurbished projectiles. In my thesis entitled Expediency and Projectile Resharpening (which is now over 6 years stale), I used the term resharpening. I did this because it only dealt with the resharpening of the distal end (tip). I am using the term refurbish here because this document offers examples of repairing both the distal and proximal ends (tip and base) of the projectile. Minute portions of the original thesis have been included here, along with the original citations. A list of those references has also been included.
